Most any household material labeled "Toxic", "Corrosive" or
"Flammable" can be brought to the HHW Drop-Off Center. Materials should
be kept in their original containers. If containers are deteriorated or leaking,
transfer materials to a safe container and label the new container to correctly identify
the contents. If the material cannot be safely transferred, double bag the old
container in heavy duty garbage bags Do not mix different materials in the same
container. Place all items to be disposed of in a box and place it in the trunk
or truck bed to bring to the collection event.
|
The HHW Drop-off Center is free to City of San Antonio garbage
fee ratepayers. A copy of their recent CPS Energy bill is necessary to support proof of residency. |
