On December 9, 2010 City Council passed an ordinance requiring multi-family properties, such as apartments and condominiums, to provide recycling services for their residents. Recycling services will be phased in from July 2011 – April 2012 on the following schedule:

| Multi-Family Recycling Plan | Multi-Family Recycling Plan: property owners are required to fill out and submit a recycling plan to the city a minimum of three months prior to their scheduled start date. | ||
| Property Owner Resources | Multi-family recycling guidebook: provides property owners guidelines on how to implement a recycling program that is consistent with the requirements of the ordinance. Printing instructions. | ||
