SAN ANTONIO (May 8, 2019) - Taken from a home where they were living in deplorable conditions a week ago, more than two dozen dogs at Animal Care Services have yet to find a happy ending.  Fifty four dogs were brought in from a home on Leonidas Drive on May 2nd by ACS cruelty investigators. Now, the shelter is begging the community to help the dogs, who were dubbed the”Fab54”, find safe, loving homes. Although the San Antonio Humane Society and San Antonio Pets Alive have taken in a number of the puppies and adults who were brought in, there are still close to 30 that have not been adopted or caught the eye of area rescues. With the shelter’s busy season in full swing, ACS is hopeful the remaining members of the “Fab54” will find placement soon. Interested adopters can reach out while rescues or fosters can email
