Low Cost Vaccinations

Shots are important for your pet.

Whether you have a dog or cat, it is every pet parent's obligation to provide our pets with proper vaccinations or shots--beginning with a series of puppy and kitten shots and then regular boosters throughout their adulthood. Given the community’s low vaccination rate, San Antonio tends to see an increased pet disease rate. This is especially true amongst animals that are brought into shelters or pets that are allowed to roam.

Animal Care Services partners with several veterinary partners who offer low cost vaccinations and other services. These include Low Cost Pet Vax , Brooks Spay/Neuter Clinic (run by our friends at the SA Humane Society) & Pet Shotz. All your pet’s necessary shots are available at these clinics as well as flea/tick medications, heart worm preventative and microchips. Cash and Credit cards only please. All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.

Our partner clinics are run by other organizations so Pet Parents should ALWAYS check with their clinic of choice for availability, hours, offered services and prices.

Remember!

Your pet’s shots are very important and the most effective way of preventing infectious and sometimes deadly diseases. Regardless of where you get your pet’s regular vaccinations, it’s also vital you establish a relationship with a veterinarian. Not only can your pet’s doctor provide your pet with wellness checkups and any needed medical care, vets can also be an excellent information resource for pet owners experiencing difficulties with pet related behavioral and training issues.
