River Walk Designated & Private Vending

The City of San Antonio, through the Center City Development and Operations Department, will be accepting applications for the 2019 River Walk Stationary Designated Public Space Vending Program. The following dates for meetings and processes for this program are as follows:

Informational Meeting

September 28, 2018, 2:30 p.m. – Central Library Auditorium Vendors interested in participating in the 2019 program are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting. Applications for the program will be available following the meeting.

Application Period


CCDO will begin accepting applications for the 2019 vending year on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.

Complete applications must be submitted in person by appointment to 400 N. St. Mary’s, Ste. 100 - no later than Friday, November 16, 2018 before 4:00 p.m.

Applications can be obtained at Center City Development & Operations Offices located at 400 N. St. Mary’s Suite 100, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Holidays and on the link below.

Appointments with Jaime Hernandez must be made to submit your applications. Applications will not be considered complete until all required documents have been presented and approved.

Annual Vendor Lottery


CCDO will hold a lottery to determine the selected annual vendors for the 2018 River Walk Stationary Designated Public Space Vending Program on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Central Library Auditorium.

Payment of Permit

Vendors selected on November 19, 2018 will need to have their annual permit paid for by Friday, December 21, 2018 in order to begin vending on January 1, 2019.
