Parent Contributing to Non-Attendance
Cases for adults charged with an offense of Parent Contributing to Non-Attendance are also heard in Juvenile Court and must appear on the date stated in the court summons.
If you need to reset your cases, parent may request a new date from the Court in person.
If you received a citation or summons to appear in court and are under 17, you must appear in person and with a parent or legal guardian.
You are expected to dress appropriately when you come to court. A strict dress code is enforced.
Failure to Appear
If you fail to appear for your original appearance date, a warrant may be issued for your arrest if you are over 16. The State may also file an additional charge of Failure to Appear.
Juveniles Now Adults
If you received a citation for an offense which is alleged to have occurred when you were under 17, you are subject to the juvenile law for that particular case.
