Virtual Board and Commission Meetings

Beginning in May, all board and commission meetings will be held virtually thru WebEx and will include public input. This new format is set up to protect your health and that of our community while limiting the spread of COVID-19. These modified standards will remain in place until further notice, or until the Stay Home, Work Safe Emergency Declaration expires. 

We appreciate your support as we work together through these unprecedented times.

Providing Public Comment

There are a few ways to participate in the public meetings and give us your input: 

Option 1 – Email or Mail

You can send your comments via email, either to the case manager or to the contact for the appropriate board listed below. If you choose this option, your comments are due by 4 p.m. the day before the public meeting

To mail your comments:

Option 2 – Dropping off

If you choose this option, your comments are due by 4 p.m. the day before the public meeting 

  • Bring your comments to 1901 S. Alamo St. 
  • Include your name, date of meeting, and agenda/case number 

Option 3 – Voicemail

You can leave a voicemail by 10 a.m. the day of the meeting for playback during the meeting. It will be entered into the official record. Make sure you call the number listed for the appropriate board. For this option, you will need to: 

  • Give us your name, your address for the record 
  • Agenda, case number or address of the request you are commenting on 
  • Limit message to 2 minutes

Option 4 – Live Call BACKS 

Our staff will gladly call you back during the public hearing if you want to give your comments live during the meeting. You will need to: 

  • Sign up by 10 a.m. the day of the meeting by calling the number listed for the appropriate board. We will call you when your item is up for discussion (we can’t guarantee a specific time after 1 p.m.). Leave your name, phone number, case number or agenda item or address of the request you are speaking about. 
  • Once you join the call, you will have two minutes to provide your comments. Make sure you call the number listed for the appropriate board.
