SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 22, 2020) - District 2 will generate economic growth on the eastside with Amazon’s state of the art robotic sorting facility. “I am excited Amazon has seen the benefit of creating up to 800 jobs in San Antonio’s eastside. Jobs with good wages and benefits from day one,” stated Councilwoman Jada Andrews-Sullivan. Amazon’s $200 million industrial center will locate 750,000 square feet on District 2’s Cal Turner Drive. “I appreciate City’s staff’s diligence in researching and collaborating with Amazon engineers and design professionals to make this type of innovative facility the asset it will become for District 2, thank you Amazon, and everyone involved in this asset development for our community,” stated Councilwoman Jada Andrews-Sullivan.
