If communicating is a challenge for you and public speaking is outside of your comfort zone, then you should consider participating in the City’s Toastmasters Club.
Toastmasters is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. The City’s Toastmasters Club can help you:

- Speak with confidence,
- Lead teams,
- Organize well-run meetings,
- Communicate clearly, and more!
Several times a year, the City accepts applications for its next group of Toastmasters participants. If you are interested in joining the Toastmasters Club, check back here in August and February.
Club members are responsible for the $20 new member fee and a $45 chapter fee every six months. Employees who meet the necessary participation and attendance requirements are eligible to be reimbursed for both fees.
Note: The City's Toastmaster Club is limited to 30 participants.
