H-E-B will kick off the holiday festivities with the annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday, November 23 at Travis Park.
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 14, 2018) — The community is invited to attend events throughout the month of November at Travis Park, located at 301 E. Travis St.
H-E-B Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Friday, November 23, 3 – 6:30 p.m., tree lighting ceremony at 6:20 p.m., FREE
Kick-off the holiday festivities with us at the Annual H-E-B Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 23. The 55-foot white fir tree will be lit up with over 250,000 holiday lights and custom-made ornaments. Festivities begin at 3 p.m. and include live entertainment, food trucks, cookie decorating, letters to Santa, giveaways and a movie screening of "Elf." Festivities will then be followed by the tree lighting ceremony at 6:20 p.m. For the event, H-E-B will provide free VIA bus rides to the tree lighting. This event is free and open to the public. Market Day in the Park

Join Boss Babes Market Days at Travis Park for Shop Small Saturday. They will be collaborating with 50+ small business owners from San Antonio and the surrounding areas. The event will feature shopping, food, live music, giveaways, fun games, activities for the kids, and holiday lights! This is a free family event; don't forget to bring your camera to take pictures with the holiday tree! Food Trucks in Travis Park
Enjoy a rotating option of food truck vendors every weekday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Fitness in the Park Boot Camp
Take your workout outdoors every Tuesday in November for Travis Park’s Fitness in the Park Boot Camp. Classes include a variety of activities geared towards increasing endurance, power, strength, stamina, and speed. Don’t forget your own reusable water bottle! 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Free and open to the public.

There is ample parking near Travis Park. The City of San Antonio has several parking garages, lots and on-street meters nearby, with the nearest one being the St. Mary’s Street Garage on the corner of Travis and St. Mary’s, one block west of Travis Park. The St. Mary’s Street Garage offers $5 flat rate parking on non-event evenings and weekends. A full list of City-owned garages, lots and meters can be found here. Enjoy free parking after 5 p.m. at City operated garages, lots, and meters as part of Downtown Tuesday.
