SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 14, 2019) — The Alamodome advises fans to arrive early to Sunday’s Commanders vs. Orlando Apollos game.  Because of heavy traffic, fans should plan to arrive at least one (1) hour prior to the 3 p.m. start of the game.

Parking - Fans with pre-purchased parking permits are able to park at the Alamodome.  The best way to ensure convenient parking is to purchase an Alamodome parking permit for a single game or the rest of the Commanders season. Permits are $20/game and are available at the Alamodome Box Office (Mon – Fri, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).  Day of game parking may be purchased in Lot C on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Tailgating – Tailgating is permitted in Alamodome Lots B & C with a parking permit. Lots open five (5) hours prior to the beginning of the game.  Additional information on Tailgating may be found at

Clear Bag Policy - All attendees will have their bags checked prior to entering the building. For information on the types of bags allowed, download the Clear Bag Policy PDF Flyer.

Park & Ride – Avoid the traffic and parking hassles by taking VIA Park & Ride to the game.  Buses drop off and pick up at the H-E-B. Plaza.  Park & Ride service to the Commanders home games will be offered from the Crossroads Park & Ride (151 Crossroads Blvd.) and the Madla Transit Center (1584 Cantrell Drive).  Service will begin 2 hours before game time, and return service will run for 1 hour after the game.  The fare is $2.50 each way (total of $5.00 roundtrip).  VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free.  VIA bus passes are not available for this service.  For additional VIA service information, fans can visit

Ride Share - The designated ride share pickup and drop off location is at Montana and Tower of the America’s Way on the southbound I-37/281 Access Road
