SAN ANTONIO (April 12, 2019) – HBO Latino is bringing its stand-up comedy special, “Entre Nos” to the Alamo City. The free, 18-and-over taping will take place April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Charline McCombs Empire Theater. Tickets to the show are available at

“Entre Nos” is an English-language stand-up comedy special showcasing some of the best Latino comedians in the US. Four Latino comedians make up the impressive roster, including Nick Guerra, Eric Rivera, Gina Brillon, and Kim Congdon.

“We are thrilled to have HBO Latino and “Entre Nos” coming to San Antonio,” said Krystal Jones, Marketing, Film & Music Administrator, City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture. “This is the first time the producers are taking the show on the road and the fact that they chose San Antonio speaks highly of all our city offers television and film projects.”

“The City of San Antonio truly opened its arms to our production,” said Edwin Licona, Producer of “Entre Nos”. “The city’s film-friendliness as well as the services its Film Commission provides made it a very easy decision for us to bring the show to San Antonio.”

“Entre Nos” will not only feature top Latino talent, but also the skills of San Antonians with the production estimating to hire more than 25 local crew and a number of background cast. “Entre Nos” is also a success story for the City of San Antonio’s Film Strategic Plan, with its local film incentive, no film permit fees and film-friendly locations playing a key role in enticing the production to come to the city.

The “Entre Nos” comedy special to be taped at the Empire Theatre will air later this year on HBO Latino, HBO Go, and HBO Now. With a reputation for discovering new Latino comedy talent, “Entre Nos” is known as one of the hottest Latino-American stand-up comedy specials.
