More locations and dates announced for no-cost walk-up COVID-19 testing

SAN ANTONIO (May 20, 2020) – Metro Health and San Antonio Fire Department’s Mobile Integrated Health Program (MIH) continue to bring free and accessible COVID-19 testing to the community. Four new locations and dates were announced between May 21 – May 30. The first 175 people that arrive will be tested.
 
The hours of the walk-up test sites are now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The walk-up test sites currently have the capacity to test 175 people per day at each location.

To view all test locations, visit the Metro Health COVID-19 website. All upcoming locations will be posted to this website as they are scheduled. Residents can also call 311 or the Metro Health hotline at 210-207-5779 to request more information about testing.

In addition, the City of San Antonio has an online self-screening tool that can be found at www.sanantonio.gov/covid19. This tool does not replace medical care if a person is feeling ill. A healthcare provider should be visited if symptoms worsen or if underlying medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, lung disease, or heart disease is a factor in the person’s medical history.

SAN ANTONIO (20 de mayo de 2020) - El Programa de Salud Integrada Móvil (MIH) del Departamento de Bomberos de Metro Health y San Antonio continúa brindando pruebas COVID-19 gratuitas y accesibles a la comunidad. Se anunciaron cuatro nuevas ubicaciones y fechas entre el 21 y el 30 de mayo. Se evaluarán las primeras 175 personas que lleguen.
 
Las horas de los sitios de prueba son ahora de 10 a.m. a 2 p.m. Los sitios de prueba sin cita actualmente tienen la capacidad de evaluar a 175 personas por día en cada ubicación.
