Community Health and Wellness Center at Woodlawn Lake Park Gym
Time to get active and get fit at the Community Health and Wellness Center at Woodlawn Lake Park Gym, 219 Alexander! Strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, lose weight, and improve your mental health by working out regularly. From cardio for seniors to walking classes and circuit training, San Antonio residents will find a myriad of fitness opportunities available at Woodlawn Lake Gym's new Community Health and Wellness Center.
The center features free classes for seniors offered by the Department of Human Services during the fall, winter and spring months. The Parks and Recreation Department provides a variety of free fitness classes from 5 to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Amenities Available for Rental
The following amenities are available for rental. Use the links below to view facility details or calendar availability. Learn how to make a reservation.
• Gym practices and/or games - $30 per hour flat fee with two-hour minimum.
• General use gym only or meeting room only - $50 an hour with a two-hour minimum plus $100 damage deposit is required.
• Any event with a DJ or band will require security.
The Parks and Recreation Department schedule is as follows:
Mondays - Fitness in the Park
5:30pm Walking Group
6:30pm Boot Camp
7:30pm CoRE (Core/Respiratory Endurance)
Wednesdays - Teen Night for boys and girls ages 13 - 17
5 - 9 p.m.: Volley ball and basketball skills, fundamentals and scrimmages
Thursdays - Fitness in the Park
5:30pm Walking group
7:30pm Interval Training
