Pilot Program: Sign Reimbursement Program

The City of San Antonio's Operation Facelift Program provides matching grants to eligible property and/or business owners for the purpose of improving the quality and design of signage on commercial storefronts within the designated program area. The Program is set up as a matching grant up to $2,000, reimbursed upon completion of project. This means for every dollar the applicant provides for the sign, the City will match that dollar. Thus, if a sign costs $4,000, the applicant will pay the $4,000 to the Sign contractor and the City will reimburse the applicant $2,000.

Eligible areas for the Pilot Program are District One, with the requirement they fall in a CDBG eliglbe area (highlighted).

Deadline to apply is September 30, 2014.
