The Hardberger Park Land Bridge project is part of the voter-approved 2017-2022 Bond Program. This project is the City’s contribution to a public-private partnership with the Hardberger Park Conservancy. Currently, the Conservancy, with oversight from the City, is managing the design of the bridge and the City will oversee the Construction. Rialto Studio is the lead Architect, overseeing a full design team.
The Hardberger Park Land Bridge project provides additional development of the park based on the approved master plan. The land bridge will span Wurzbach Parkway, connecting Hardberger Park East and Hardberger Park West.
Additional improvements will include a walking trail, a limestone retaining wall, and newly planted trees and grasses.
