Two lanes of Market Street reopened on August 30, allowing drivers access to the new Tower of the Americas Way, which leads to Commerce, Montana, Cesar Chavez Boulevard and I-37.
Two lanes on Market, closest to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, will remain closed to facilitate construction of the Convention Center project.
To minimize the duration of construction, Market Street from Bowie Street to IH-37 closed on September 14, 2013. This closure will remain in place for approximately 11 months.
