Murder Suspect Turns Himself in for Drive-by Shooting

Significant Decrease in Violent and Property Crimes in San Antonio

Since 2017, San Antonio has witnessed a dramatic and sustained decrease in crime. Preliminary year-to-date Uniform Crime Report (UCR) statistics for the San Antonio Police Department confirm that as of Sept. 30, total Part I UCR crimes, which include violent crime and property crime, are down 17 percent from last year.
