Grace Period Begins for Residents to Pay Fines for Outstanding Warrants

San Antonio, Texas, February 19, 2018: The San Antonio Police Department and the City of San Antonio Municipal court announced the beginning of the three week Warrant Resolution Campaign. Individuals with outstanding Class C fines related to misdemeanor violations such as traffic violations and City Ordinance violations, will have from February 19, 2018 until March 9, 2018 to resolve their warrants. The enforcement period will begin Monday, March 5, 2018 and end on Friday, March 9, 2018.


During the next two weeks, members of the SAPD Volunteers in Policing program will be calling people to remind them that they have warrants and explain to them the options of resolving them. In addition, Municipal Court will mail notices informing individuals of their outstanding warrants.


Individuals with outstanding traffic warrants have a variety of options to pay their citations:
