Final 2018 San Antonio Police Academy Class Begins

San Antonio, Texas, September 24, 2018: Today, Cadets with the 2018-D academy class began their journey with the San Antonio Police Department. Of the 54 cadets that started the Academy Monday, 48 are male and six are female. 


The Academy is approximately 35 weeks in length and consists of intensive training to include academics, physical training, and skill development. 2018-D is projected to graduate on May 23, 2019. 


This is the final San Antonio Police Department Academy Cadet class scheduled for 2018. Currently, there are two other Academy classes in session, 2018-B and 2018-C.
