Robbery Task Force Unit Arrests Man Accused of Robbing Two Businesses

San Antonio, Texas, September 26, 2018: Today, the San Antonio Police Department’s Robbery Task Force Unit alongside the East S.A.F.F.E. Unit arrested Sean Lacey, age 28, in connection to two Aggravated Robbery cases. Lacey is accused of robbing two local Starbucks at gunpoint this past weekend. The first robbery occurred on Friday September 21st, at a Starbucks located near 1604 and Vance Jackson. The second incident occurred at a Starbucks off Loop 410 and Vance Jackson Sunday morning.

The Robbery Task Force Unit recently discovered evidence leading them to Lacey. This morning, detectives spotted Lacey outside a motel located at IH-35 and Goldfield. Officers with our East S.A.F.F.E. Unit conducted a traffic stop  nearby, but during the stop Lacey was able to get back into his vehicle and evade officers. With the assistance of our E.A.G.L.E. Helicopter Unit, Lacey was apprehended without further incident nearby. Lacey will be booked in the Bexar County Jail on two counts of Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest, all felonies.
