Murder Suspect Turns Himself in for Drive-by Shooting

San Antonio, Texas, October 12, 2018: The San Antonio Police Department Homicide Unit announced the arrest of Tyrend Ryshawn White, age 25, for the October 11th murder of Janice Crawford, 34.


On Thursday, October 11, 2018, the victim was shot inside her home during a drive-by shooting on the 4000 block of Coral Sunrise. The victim later passed away at San Antonio Military Medical Center. Through their investigation, homicide detectives obtained enough probable cause to issue an arrest warrant for White. White turned himself in at the Central Substation Friday morning without incident. White will be booked in the Bexar County Jail for Murder.
