Arrest of SAPD Officer
On April 19, 2019, at approximately 3:19 a.m., SAPD officers responded to 375 Sprucewood for an Assault. When officers arrived at the location they contacted the complainant who stated that officer Nicolette Muniz, while off-duty, went to her house and punched her in the face and neck. According to the complainant, the assault stemmed from a dispute over her boyfriend, who has been romantically involved with both the complainant and Muniz. Muniz will be booked for Assault-Dating/Family Violence, which is a Class A misdemeanor.

"Officer Nicolette Muniz is a 3 year veteran of the San Antonio Police Department. A full Administrative and Criminal Investigation is underway. The officer will be placed on administrative leave pending the investigation. The case will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review.
