SkillsUSA Law Enforcement Competition

The San Antonio Police Department, with SkillsUSA, will host the SkillsUSA Law Enforcement Competition at the San Antonio Police Department Training Academy located at 12200 SE Loop 410 on Saturday, January 31, 2015, from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. For the next two weeks high school students will be competing throughout San Antonio showcasing their career knowledge and skills in their chosen career path to professionals. On Sat January 31, 2015 several high school law enforcement programs will be competing in the SkillsUSA District 11 Law Enforcement Competition at the San Antonio Police Academy in areas such as Crime Scene Investigations, Felony Stop, Building Search, and Community Emergency Response. Police officers will judge events and determine which contestants will advance to the Skills State Conference in Corpus Christi March 26-28, 2015. Those placing at State have the opportunity to advance to Nationals in Louisville Kentucky.
