Greater San Antonio McDonald’s Operators Association and the
San Antonio Police Department Team Up to Host “Coffee with the Cops”

Police Chief Anthony Treviño continues to promote communication within the community.

SAN ANTONIO–The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) is partnering with the Greater San Antonio McDonald’s Operators Association (GSAMOA) to host its second “Coffee with the Cops” event on Friday, March 20th, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the McDonald’s restaurant located at 6350 Old Pearsall Road, San Antonio, Texas 78242.

Coffee with the Cops is a community engagement opportunity for residents to interact with officers working in their neighborhood. McDonald’s and the SAPD hosted its first Coffee with the Cops event on January 30th on the city’s east side.

“We have received great feedback from the community on our inaugural Coffee with the Cops event. We look forward to this next event on the south side and to furthering our relationship with the citizens we serve. We thank McDonald’s for their ongoing support of Coffee with the Cops,” stated SAPD Chief Anthony Treviño.

Chief Treviño and other SAPD Officers will be in attendance to answer any questions residents may have related to law enforcement and safety. Residents are encouraged to stop by the participating restaurant for a free cup of McCafé Coffee and to visit with Police Chief Treviño and SAPD Officers. During the event, individuals are encouraged to join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #SAPDCoffeeWithTheCops.
