SAPD Receives $3,125,000 for Community Policing Efforts from U.S. Department of Justice

San Antonio, Texas, November 20, 2017: The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services today announced $98,495,397 in grant funding to 179 law enforcement agencies across the nation through the COPS Hiring Program, allowing those agencies to hire 802 additional full-time law enforcement officers.
