Doing Business with City of San Antonio

There are a few steps to getting your small business ready to do business with the City of San Antonio.

  • Register in the Procurement System (SAePS)   
    Every manufacturer, supplier, vendor and others wishing to do business with the City of San Antonio must register with the City. There are two types of classifications, Procurement and Non-Procurement.
    • If you will receive payments from the City of San Antonio under a contract, if you will receive Requests for Quotations, Purchase Orders, or other Procurement documents, or if you are a construction or architecture and engineering vendor, you are considered a Procurement Vendor in the Central Vendor Registration (CVR).
    • If you will receive payments from the City of San Antonio that are not related to bids, contracts or purchase orders as described above, if you are a direct utility provider for the City of San Antonio, or if you will receive grant or loan money from the City of San Antonio, you are considered a Non-Procurement Vendor.
