Johnnie Bernhard: Hurricanes That Made History

Ms. Bernhard's current novel Sisters of the Undertow focuses on three major hurricanes in U.S. history: the Great Storm of 1900, Hurricane Katrina, and Hurricane Harvey. All three hurricanes are part of the top ten most devastating hurricanes in our nation's history, in reference to loss of human life and financial ruin.
