Holocaust Learn and Remember Closing Event Featuring Holocaust Survivor Evi Blaikie

What is it like to hide for extended periods of time – only to lose most of your family? Hear the firsthand account of isolation experienced during the Holocaust from survivor Evi Blaikie. Ms. Blaikie was born in Paris, smuggled to Hungary at the outbreak of World War II, went into hiding in Hungary with her mother for a year, was liberated, and then returned to France where she was placed in an orphanage. Learn how Ms. Blaikie overcame all the challenges in her life and continues to advocate for tolerance so that an atrocity like the Holocaust never occurs again.
