SAN ANTONIO (July 27, 2017) - The San Antonio Public Library invites the community to have a listen to their newly released staff-hosted podcast “Tuned In”.

“Tuned In” offers an engaging and unique look into the inner-workings of the San Antonio Public Library. Reference staff at the Central Library host this fun and informative show about topics ranging from library jargon to popular Library resources, to the ongoing debate of eBooks vs. paper books. The hosts wanted to create a fun way to answer common questions that library patrons have, like what it means when a book is “in-transit”, or what the difference is between a database and a search engine.

Episodes are a brief 15-20 minutes and are perfect for your daily commute or quick walk. “Tuned In” will also feature special guests and experts on more specialized Library topics.

“Tuned In” is yet another example of how the San Antonio Public Library delivers new and exciting services to the San Antonio community. San Antonio Public Library is one of only three Texas library systems to offer a podcast. “Tuned In” is available on iTunes, Soundcloud, PlayerFM, and several other podcast outlets.
