Alamodome Earns Cover Feature in Facility Manager Magazine

SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 24, 2018) — The Alamodome has earned a cover story in the January/February issue of Facility Manager magazine. Facility Manager is one of the leading publications in the venue industry.  Representing public assembly facilities from around the globe, the magazine targets managers and senior executives from auditorium, arenas, convention centers, exhibit halls, stadiums, performing arts centers, university complexes, and amphitheaters.

The winter issue highlights the Alamodome and the efforts of General Manager Nicholas Langella and Facility Managers Darius Dunn and Steve Zito, in preparing the facility to host mega events including the upcoming 2018 NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball Championship. The Alamodome’s $60 million renovation marks the most significant capital improvement project in the facility’s 24-year history and modernizes the venue to be more comparable and competitive with other multi-use and sports stadiums in the U.S.
