SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 26, 2018) -- San Antonio Public Library adds hundreds of new items to the catalog each week. Want to be one of the first to know what’s new? Sign up for Wowbrary! Wowbrary is a platform that was created to make public libraries more accessible. San Antonio Public Library patrons can simply sign up for weekly emails to receive a list of the newest books, movies and music in both digital and print formats that have been added to the catalog. This makes it even easier for library card holders to browse through the latest additions and place a hold on a new title.

Weekly emails will highlight up to 20 "Top Choices," selected automatically from the best-selling of the new items the Library has added. All of the week's new items can be accessed by selecting from the list of categories.

San Antonio Public Library users interested in signing up should visit The Library also posts the weekly list on Facebook and Twitter every Saturday morning. Simply follow @mysapl.

Beginning in 2001, Interactive Sciences has been building experiments to research creative approaches to better connect people with the many resources available via their libraries. Wowbrary is the first of these innovations to be released for general use.
