March in Travis Park!

SAN ANTONIO (March 8, 2018) —The community is invited to attend events throughout the month of March at Travis Park, located at 301 E. Travis St.

St. Mark’s Music in the Park

Wednesdays, March 7, 14 and 21, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., Free

Join St. Marks on select Wednesdays in March for Music in the Park and enjoy live music in Travis Park from local bands.


Ballet in the Park

Saturday, March 10, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Free

Enjoy an evening of dance in a unique outdoor setting with Travis Park and Ballet San Antonio’s fourth annual Ballet in the Park. Ballet San Antonio will provide complimentary ballet classes for 7-10 year olds from 6-6:45 p.m., followed by a free public performance at 7 p.m. Be sure to bring your chairs or blankets. This event is free and open to the public.

Movie by Moonlight

Tuesday, March 13, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Activities begin at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at 8 p.m., Free

This FREE outdoor, family friendly event features a showing of “Surf’s Up”, and live music, food, and activities. Enjoy free parking after 5 p.m. at City operated garages, lots, and meters as part of Downtown Tuesday.


Eat & Play in Travis Park

Tuesday, March 20, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Enjoy a wide variety of food trucks, live entertainment and activities during this mid-day lunch time event in Travis Park.

Enjoy a rotating option of food truck vendors every weekday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.


Fitness in the Park Boot Camp

Every Tuesday in March, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Free

Take your workout outdoors every Tuesday in March for Travis Park’s Fitness in the Park Boot Camp. Classes include a variety of activities geared towards increasing endurance, power, strength, stamina, and speed. Don’t forget your own reusable water bottle! Free and open to the public.

Visitor Parking

There is ample parking near Travis Park. The City of San Antonio has several parking garages, lots and on-street meters near Travis Park, with the nearest one being the St. Mary’s Street Garage on the corner of Travis and St. Mary’s, which is immediately one block west of Travis Park. The St. Mary’s Street Garage offers $5 flat rate parking on non-event evenings and weekends. A full list of City-owned garages, lots and meters can be found at In addition, there are numerous non-City owned lots and garages in the area where visitors can park for a fee, including the Travis Park Plaza Garage.
