Jazz’SALive in Travis Park returns on September 21 and 22!
SAN ANTONIO (September 4, 2018) —The community is invited to attend events throughout the month of September at Travis Park, located at 301 E. Travis St.
Friday, September 21 from 4:45 p.m. -11 p.m., and Saturday, September 22 from 10 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., FREE
Join us for the 35th annual jazz festival hosted by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and featuring award-winning national, regional and local talent with diverse styles of jazz. Along with music, this year's festival will include food trucks and beverage options, a creative youth village with face painting, dance performances, local artists featured, yoga and a brunch. Fitness in the Park Boot Camp
Take your workout outdoors every Tuesday in September for Travis Park’s Fitness in the Park Boot Camp. Classes include a variety of activities geared towards increasing endurance, power, strength, stamina, and speed. Don’t forget your own reusable water bottle! 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Free and open to the public.
There is ample parking near Travis Park. The City of San Antonio has several parking garages, lots and on-street meters nearby, with the nearest one being the St. Mary’s Street Garage on the corner of Travis and St. Mary’s, one block west of Travis Park. The St. Mary’s Street Garage offers $5 flat rate parking on non-event evenings and weekends. A full list of City-owned garages, lots and meters can be found here. Enjoy free parking after 5 p.m. at City operated garages, lots, and meters as part of Downtown Tuesday.
