SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 20, 2018) – Burger King and QMart Convenience Store under one roof opened its first San Antonio location at the entrance to the San Antonio International Airport (SAT). Both of the locations are owned and operated by Northwest Petroleum (NWP). The company celebrated with a 3-day grand opening on Sept. 19-21 with free food and giveaways.

NWP is also a charitable organization and wanted to commemorate the grand opening  near the airport with a donation to Alamo City’s Chapter of Women in Aviation, which is a non-profit dedicated to providing networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for both women and men who strive for careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.

“Being part of the community is an essential aspect of our business at NWP and with San Antonio International Airport as our neighbor, we see it fitting to aid causes that support those interested in aviation and aerospace,” said Fazil Malik, CEO, NWP.

The new location offers the traditional Burger King fare, in addition to the convenience store that has a modern twist by offering made-to-order food, free WiFi and a screen with flight schedules.

The new QMart/Burger King will operate 24 hours and is located at 8922 Airport Boulevard.
