SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 1, 2019) – San Antonio International Airport (SAT) in collaboration with the Department of Arts and Culture’s Music Division is gearing up for its next season of “SAT Live.” The airport is holding auditions for outstanding performing artists interested in sharing their talent and culture with travelers.

“Last year, more than 10 million passengers traveled through the airport, so this is the perfect venue to showcase some of our diverse local talent in San Antonio. This is a traveler’s first and last impression of our beautiful city,” said Matt Evans, Arts, Culture and Music Specialist at SAT.

If you are a professional dancer, musician or theater performer this is your chance to use the airport as your stage. The auditions for “SAT Live” are Saturday, March 2 at noon at Sam Ash Music Store, 25 NE Loop 410 at the McCullough intersection.

If you are interested in performing at the airport, please email your press kit to matt.evans@sanantonio.gov. Press kits should include bio, performance samples (video preferred), website/social media links and contact information. All applicants will be notified if selected for an in-person audition on March 2. Incomplete submissions will not be considered during this call for artists.
