SAN ANTONIO (April 4, 2019) – This morning, City Council approved an ordinance to award the contract of the Randolph Weidner Intersection Project. The following is Councilman Clayton Perry’s statement:
“I am thrilled to begin the work on the intersection of Randolph and Weidner and grateful to secure the funding to make these improvements and our neighbor’s safety a priority.
These improvements will provide for the widening of sidewalks and outside lanes, the reconstruction of the signal at the intersection and the re-striping of the intersection – adding protected left turn lanes on Weidner Road. Additionally, the existing wire traffic signals will be upgraded to new, steel mast arm pole traffic signals in order to meet current standards.
Thank you to the surrounding community for their input and patience and to Transportation and Capital Improvements for their dedication and support.”
