San Antonio (April 30, 2019) – Yesterday, Councilwoman Viagran, TCI and San Antonio Parks and Recreation held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the improvements made to Stinson/5 Diamonds Little League Baseball Complex.

“5 Diamonds Little League has been a part of the District 3 community for generations so I am proud celebrate the new improvements made for future generations to utilize and enjoy” said Viagran. “These improvements are a true investment in our community and its future. By improving the facilities where hundreds of youth engage in team sports activities throughout the year, we help them build responsibility and character that will be crucial to their future success as adults.”

The completed, voter-approved 2017 Bond project, with a $400,000 budget, includes a one-way, paved, circular drive with access to five baseball fields. The project also provides 221 paved parking spaces, ADA-compliant accessibility ramps, sidewalks, new driveway striping, signage and landscaping.
