Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Market Square!

 

SAN ANTONIO (May 1, 2019) – The City of San Antonio invites the community to visit Market Square, La Villita, Travis Park, Plaza Guadalupe, and Houston Street this month for a wide variety of events.

 

Market Square Events (514 W. Commerce Street)
Primer Sabado! - Viva Market Square! - Cinco de Mayo
Friday, May 3 – Sunday, May 5, 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., FREE
We're celebrating Market Square and Cinco de Mayo!  Enjoy Market Square's food booths, working artists, specialty vendors, and entertainment on the Plaza and in the Farmers Market. We'll have bands going all three days, and then on Sunday, May 5, Univision 41 KWEX takes over San Saba Street with a Mariachi Competition starting at 10 a.m. It's a three-day fiesta of free, family friendly entertainment at The Historic Market Square! Memorial Day Weekend at Market Square
Saturday, May 25 – Monday, May 27, 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., FREE
It's a three-day weekend at The Historic Market Square in honor of Memorial Day! Come down and check out Market Square's food booths, working artists, specialty vendors, and entertainment out on the Plaza and in Farmer's Market. Turkish Fest
Sunday, May 5, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., FREE

Ballet Folklorico Festival
Sunday, May 12, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., ticketed event

Armed Forces Day Parade
Saturday, May 18, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., FREE
The San Antonio Riverwalk Association will honor our Armed Forces with a San Antonio river celebration. Patriotically decorated river floats carrying servicemen and women, concessions and entertainment will top off this year's event. Kyle Turner and Friends Jazz Celebration
Saturday, May 18, 6 p.m. – 12 a.m., ticketed event

Girls Night Out! 15th Anniversary screening of “Mean Girls”
