SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 15, 2019) — The community is invited to attend events throughout the month of November at Travis Park, located at 301 E. Travis St.



H-E-B Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Friday, November 29, 3 – 9 p.m., tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m., FREE
Kick-off the holiday festivities with us at the Annual H-E-B Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 29. Festivities begin at 3 p.m. and include live entertainment, food trucks, cookie decorating, letters to Santa, giveaways, and a movie screening of "Home Alone." The tree lighting ceremony begins at 6 p.m. followed by the movie screening at 7:30 p.m. For the event, H-E-B will provide free VIA bus rides to the tree lighting. Travis Park Ice Skating Rink
December 2019 – January 31, 2020
The Rotary Club of San Antonio presents the 2019 Holiday Outdoor Ice Rink located in Travis Park adjacent to the annual Christmas tree. For more information, including hours of operation, pricing and specials, please visit http://rotaryicerink.com.



Small Business Saturday in Travis Park
Saturday, November 30, 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., FREE
The DOPE Babes will be hosting the Second Annual Small Business Saturday in Travis Park. The event will feature gift items for sale and food. For more information, please visit the Facebook event page.



Food Trucks in Travis Park

Fitness in the Park Boot Camp
Every Tuesday in November, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., FREE
Take your workout outdoors every Tuesday in November for Travis Park’s Fitness in the Park Boot Camp. Classes include a variety of activities geared towards increasing endurance, power, strength, stamina, and speed. Don’t forget your own reusable water bottle! Free and open to the public. Visitor Parking
There is ample parking near Travis Park. The City of San Antonio has several parking garages, lots and on-street meters nearby, with the nearest one being the St. Mary’s Street Garage on the corner of Travis and St. Mary’s, one block west of Travis Park. The St. Mary’s Street Garage offers $5 flat rate parking on non-event evenings and weekends. A full list of City-owned garages, lots and meters can be found here. Enjoy free parking after 5 p.m. at City operated garages, lots, and meters as part of Downtown Tuesday. In addition, there are numerous non-City owned lots and garages in the area where visitors can park for a fee, including the Travis Park Plaza Garage. For a map, click here.
