SAN ANTONIO (August 22, 2020) – Last week the Texas Department of Health Services (DSHS) confirmed it has been working to address multiple coding errors that have led to backlogs of testing data being reported by Walgreens Pharmacy. Of the 59,000 test results corresponding to Texas, 205 positive results have been confirmed by Metro Health to belong to Bexar County.

The monthly breakdown of tests each month is as follows:

  • June Specimen Dates: 32
  • July Specimen Dates: 163
  • August Specimen Dates: 10

According to DSHS, all those who were tested received their results on time from Walgreens. Metro Health will add the cases to the corresponding months. All data can be viewed on the Metro Health Dashboard. For more information visit covid19.sanantonio.gov
