SAN ANTONIO (September 29, 2020) — Today, the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (Metro Health) reported 469 COVID-19 cases, of those 207 positive laboratory results between September 15 through September 23 were reported in batches from several labs. The remainder of the cases are from the past seven days. “Despite this batch of cases, our progress and warning indicators remain moving in the right direction. We urge the public not to let their guard down,” said Assistant City Manager and Interim Metro Health Director Dr. Colleen Bridger. “With continued vigilance, we will contain the spread of the virus.” Metro Health will continue to report backlogged cases that are older than 14 days on Sunday evenings.
