The Office of the City Clerk is happy to announce the re-opening of our Passport Acceptance Facility located at 719 S. Santa Rosa St. where free parking is available for customers.
Passports for customers aged 16 or older is $110. The fee for minors under the age of 16 is $80. These fees must be paid by check or money order made payable to the U.S. Department of State. The City’s processing fee is $35 and may be paid with cash, credit/debit card, check or money order made payable to the City of San Antonio. Passport Photos are available on-site for an additional fee.
Current processing times for routine passport service is 10 to 12 weeks. If you are traveling in less than 10 weeks, you will need to request expedited service to receive your passport in 4 to 6 weeks. Expedited service is an additional $60 per applicant.
Beginning October 2021, all domestic flights will require documentation that is REAL-ID compliant. Applying for a U.S. Passport now will provide you with the opportunity to purchase a REAL-ID compliant Passport Card for $30 which is valid for up to 10 years for adults. This Passport Card can be used in lieu of your Passport Book or a non-compliant driver’s license when traveling domestically.
Vital Records are also sold at the same location and qualified applicants may purchase birth certificates for $23 and death certificates for $21.
Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, all those who enter the facility will be required to wear face masks and follow all social distancing guidelines. Customers will also be temperature checked upon arrival.
