SAN ANTONIO (October 23, 2020) — Today, District 3 staff joined The San Antonio Food Bank for a city-wide onsite food distribution event at the Alamodome. Pre-registration was required for this event for both vehicles and walkups. Nearly 1,000 households received food.
“The San Antonio Food Bank is doing critical work at this time helping feed thousands of people on a weekly basis. It is an honor to have been a part of such an amazing event. This is a tough time for many families around our city and the District 3 team is thankful for events like this where we can assist in times of need,” said Councilwoman Viagran.
The San Antonio Food Bank has food pantries across their 16-county services area. During this COVID-19 pandemic, there are many ways to receive assistance. For more information on local options, visit safoodbank.org.
