San Antonio’s heritage is vital to the city’s cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability. OHP’s Youth Programs are aimed to cultivate and nurture a new generation of stewards for our heritage while also meeting the needs of students to fulfill core curriculum requirements.

OHP is teaming up with local schools and classrooms to provide hands-on educational opportunities for grade school students. Past projects include the “Make your Marker” arts project and a “Traveling Trunk” of archaeological treasures.

Additionally, OHP staff is available upon request to speak to students about local history, culture, and the things that make San Antonio unique. For more information on upcoming programs, or to propose an exercise for your classroom, please see the contact information below.
