San Antonio City Manager Erik Walsh laid out a multi-faceted review process of the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) as part of the Fiscal Year 2021 Adopted Budget.

This review process is centered around addressing foundational issues and policies, your expectations of interactions with police, your input and the study of response alternatives.
